Hi there, I'm Cameron! I am just so happy you’re here and interested in getting to know me more! I’m Cameron, the creative heart behind Cameron Thompson Photography. I'm a natural light photographer with a tremendous love for couples who are madly in love! Based in Raleigh, North Carolina you'll see me all over North Carolina and the East Coast documenting love stories! On a wedding day, you'll see me with the biggest smile on my face and most likely tossing out a lot of corny dad jokes to get you laughing! I'm all about having fun and spreading the love!

I was born and raised just outside of Charlotte, NC then I lived in Norfolk, Virginia for 6 years (2015 - 2021) and recently returned to Raleigh, NC which is where we call home now! We love being back in North Carolina, especially in the Triangle area, where you'll find us at the local college football games, weekends spent out on the lake and hiking galore. I'm so thankful I've been able to create such an amazing family to live this fantastic life with! I gained a stud of a husband in 2017, the cutest yellow lab in 2018 and our little spunky kitty in 2019. Beyond my love for my husband and animals, I'm a massive Jesus lover and attribute all my blessings to Him and do my best to be a servant and messenger of His love.

My passion for photographing weddings comes from my love for love! Totally cliche but I know how amazing this journey will be and the importance of cherishing the joyful times along the way. Being able to capture the emotion and excitement surrounding the day that a couple vows to spend the rest of their lives together is an honor that I am so privileged to have and don't take for granted!

CASSIDY CRISS, LEAD ASSOCIATE PHOTOGRAPHER

Hi there, I'm Cassidy! I am so excited to be a lead associate photographer on the Cameron Thompson Photography team! I started my photography career with Cameron Thompson Photography as an intern and dedicated second photographer and loved it so much I decided to join the team full time as a lead photographer shooting weddings on behalf of the Cameron Thompson Photography team! I am so excited to be on this team and travel all over the state documenting beautiful love stories and wedding days.

In case you're a little more curious about what an associate photographer is please feel free to check out our description here: An associate photographer is a photographer of the same level of experience as the owner + main photographer (Cameron Thompson). The associate photographer works under the Cameron Thompson Photography team which means they have the same professional equipment, knowledge,and skill to photograph the day of the wedding but following closely to the procedures and approach so you can still have the Cameron Thompson Photography experience from initial consultation through the delivery of your portraits. The associate photographer will be working alongside Cameron Thompson during the photography planning and preparation process so they are fully prepared on your wedding day.

A little more about me! I was born and raised in North Carolina and I'm an alumni of NC State University (Go Pack!). I live in Holly Springs, NC with my husband of 1 year and my adorable animals - Moo the kitty cat and Oscar, my miniature dachshund (aka weiner dog). Yes, if you guessed that right my dog truly is named to be Oscar Meyer the weiner dog!

When I'm not documenting weddings, you'll most likely find me in my favorite local coffee shop! I used to work for a small, local coffee roastery so I love exploring new coffee shops and appreciating new coffee blends.
